The SOLAR SANITIZER is ideal for heating both solid and liquid foods using only the sun. Its usefulness is at the discretion of the user. But here are some obvious uses.
Heating solids and liquids
with SOLAR SANITIZER
Solids: use your own judgment as to whether to place solid foods inside a plastic bag. Foods such as hot dogs should be placed inside a plastic bag (no need to seal, just remove excess air). Place inside the heating chamber and put into direct sunlight for at least a half hour.
Canned goods can also be heated. Place directly into the bag. They will take longer to heat. Be sure to seal the Solar Sanitizer securely.
Liquids: Liquids heat well when placed inside a sealable plastic bag: be sure to remove as much air as possible before sealing.
Watch the "Sous Vide" video on the PLAYLIST above. A unique application is to use the SOLAR SANITIZER to slow cook foods, often referred to as “sous vide” by top chefs around the world. Heating for hours at temperatures between 130 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit is possible with the SOLAR SANITIZER.
